HACKNEY CO-OPERATIVE DEVELOPMENTS CIC

HCD is a long established small but leading social enterprise now playing a significant role in the inclusive regeneration and community development of the Dalston area where it manages 4 workspaces for c.65 tenants and hosts events in the new Gillett Square. It also provides business development support for co-operatives, social enterprises, cultural industries and other organisations benefiting the local economy.

HCD is seeking to appoint a Managing Director who will ensure that the organisation builds upon its current success as premises provider and manager of business, cultural and community projects. You will need a thorough understanding of the opportunities and challenges for community local economic development as well as practical experience of change and development within organisations, networks and partnership structures. Also required is an appreciation of co-operative development work, and an ability to make the best use of current openings in this field.

Annual salary £40,388 currently for 28 Hours pw. (Full-time equivalent £50,452.)
